With care and precision: master painter Peter Kircher renovating the façade

Freshly painted in dark green: the new façade combines history with modernity
A house with soul and history
The roots of the guesthouse go back to the early 20th century, when tourism in Carinthia - especially around Lake Millstatt - experienced its boom. At that time, the first summer visitors came from Vienna, Graz and Germany to enjoy the pure mountain air, the clear waters of the lake and the warm hospitality. From the very beginning, the Pension Linder was a popular retreat for those seeking relaxation - initially as a simple family business run with a lot of love and personal commitment.
A lot has changed over the decades, but the charm of the house has remained. Generations of guests remember family evenings on the terrace, breakfast with a view of the garden and the tranquillity that this special place exudes. The new façade is a sign that tradition and progress go hand in hand here.
A fresh coat of paint for new times
This project was implemented by Master painter Peter Kircher from Spittal an der Drau, a member of the renowned Purple-red cooperation. With a great deal of expertise, a flair for aesthetics and a keen eye for color harmony, he transformed the exterior of the guesthouse into a real highlight. The dark green is stylish and calming at the same time - and fits in perfectly with the green heart of the region: Lake Millstatt and its forests.
This change is more than just a visual update: it symbolizes the careful further development of our hotel. Because even though we are proud of our history, we want to offer our guests a modern, sustainable vacation experience.

Sustainability as a matter close to our hearts
The new façade design is not the only sign of renewal. Last year, a Photovoltaic system installed on the roof, with which we cover a large part of our energy requirements ourselves. This step is an expression of our ambition, Responsible to deal with resources and climate-friendly without sacrificing comfort or quality.
Our guests should not only feel comfortable, but also be able to relax with a clear conscience. A stay at the Pension Linder combines Comfort, Style and Environmental awareness - in the spirit of modern, conscious tourism.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank Master painter Peter Kircher and his dedicated team for the professional implementation and aesthetic sensitivity with which this project was realized.
